‘Get A Daily Practice’ Meditation Course

In this course we go step-by-step through the process of getting a daily practice. You will receive weekly video lectures, guided meditations, Q&A’s, and access to a private Facebook group with daily meditation live-streams to support your journey.

Watch a breakdown of the course in this video.

More and more people today find meditation to be an enjoyable and meaningful part of their lives.

It is also widely held that regular practice is an important key to fully exploring all that meditation has to offer.

Yet despite this, many of us struggle to establish a regular practice.

One of the reasons for this is that people approach practice in an out-dated and inefficient way, from a poor understanding of what motivates and sustains enthusiastic engagement.

Having been a life-long practice enthusiastic, and after having made all the classic mistakes (and even inventing some new ones!), I think there’s a better way.

  • The Get A Daily Practice Course is free of charge to support people in the pandemic.

  • After 20 years of avoiding and hating meditation, I now sit daily with very little resistance.

My journey with meditation has been a tough one. I did a 10 day Vipassanā retreat 20 years and although it was an incredible experience, I stopped meditating shortly afterwards. It’s like I developed a trauma response to meditation and I actively avoided it.

Steve’s relaxed and non-dogmatic approach to meditation meant I could come and go as I please and do as little or as much as I wanted. And somehow with his guidance, I was able to sit for 4 hours in the Strong Determination Sitting Course.

But most importantly, when I was in a lot of pain in the Emergency room, I found myself using the meditation techniques I learnt in the GV Meditation Club to manage and meet the pain. I was so surprised and so grateful for everything Steve has taught me in the Meditation Club.

  • To begin with I thought I wasn’t the meditation type.

Thankfully I discovered that the practice of meditation wasn’t limited to a certain type of person or set of beliefs. There is a meditation for every person and situation.

Steve is a very generous teacher with a sense of humor that makes meditation fun. There is no meditation question too silly or anecdote too strange to be discussed.

Learning how to meditate with Steve has given me the tools to manage some pretty difficult circumstances brought about by the pandemic and life threatening illnesses. Meditation has given me increased self awareness, heightened sensation in my body, more capacity to feel and free emotion, equanimity and access to expanded states.

My very practical partner has also found meditating with Steve to be useful and even enjoyable. We actually look forward to meditating together (which is not something I would have ever seen myself doing previously).
